Every jeweller on Shivormi is BIS-verified, HUID-audited, and has agreed to identical-format quotes. Here is how to use the marketplace to make a decision, not just browse.
A jewellery marketplace is only as good as its verification. Anyone can list 200 shops; the value is in a curated ~50 who have agreed to a common quote format, hallmark discipline, and honest availability.
What "verified" means on Shivormi
- BIS 916 hallmark on every piece over 2g — no exceptions.
- HUID (Hallmarking Unique ID) printed on every piece — traceable to the specific karigar workshop.
- Identical-format deal sheets — every quote breaks out gold weight, making %, wastage %, stone charges, GST, and the net INR per piece. No jeweller can hide charges in "miscellaneous".
- GPS location published — so you can plan the visit realistically.
- Admin-approved shop photos — you know what the shop actually looks like before you go.
Two ways to use the marketplace
- Plan-first — generate your AI plans, then filter the marketplace by region and speciality that matches your chosen plan. The marketplace shows you which jewellers can execute the specific styles.
- Design-first — browse the approved designs feed, shortlist 3–5 pieces, use virtual try-on to preview each on your photo, then book a visit to the top choice.
Booking a visit
Every approved jeweller publishes availability slots — 30-minute private windows, usually Tuesday–Saturday. You book directly through the app; the jeweller receives a WhatsApp notification with your shortlist. When you arrive, the pieces are already prepped and displayed in a private counter, not fetched from a common tray.
What to bring to a store visit
- Your Shivormi plan (screenshot or WhatsApp share).
- Family gold you plan to exchange, in a small pouch, weighed at home first.
- One decision-maker only (usually your mother or a senior aunt). More people = more delay.
- A neutral top so you can try on necklaces without lehenga interference.
After the visit
Shivormi remembers your shortlist. If you want to compare two jewellers head-to-head, the app shows their deal sheets side-by-side — same format, no maths required. And every quote is time-stamped to the current gold rate, so you know exactly what changed if you revisit in three days.
The goal is simple: fewer store visits, better decisions, and no post-purchase regret.
